August 31’s film Hunt for the Wilderpeople, is a 2016 adventure-dramedy from New Zealand writer and director Taika Waititi. The story follows an interracial couple and the cultural differences they face as their relationship blossoms. An unexpected illness puts things in perspective for Kamal and, despite his family’s threat to disown him, he decides to fly the nest.
